Have crowded or crooked teeth but you are hesitant to wear bulky braces? If yes, you may consider the option of wearing invisalign aligners that can straighten your teeth without those uncomfortable wires. Serving orthodontic patients across Greensborough and the surrounding suburbs, Prime Dental Group takes pride in creating a customised treatment plan for our clients and helping them to smile with confidence.
What Are Invisalign Aligners?
Invisalign is a set of clear, transparent, removable aligners made of flexible plastic. It can be worn to straighten misaligned teeth and improve your smile without those conventional braces. These aligners are almost invisible, very comfortable to wear and provide expected results. They can be removed while brushing, flossing, eating and drinking.
How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign works by applying slight pressure to your teeth which will be moved to the ideal position in a considerable span of time. The aligner comes with pressure points to gradually move your teeth but it wouldn’t be painful.
What Does The Treatment Process Involve?
Your invisalign treatment procedure begins with consultation with one of our dentist who will carry out a digital scan and impression of our teeth. Using this impression, we will create a 3D model of your teeth and a digital treatment plan suitable for you. If you are satisfied with the 3D video of your procedure, a set of aligners will be made in our Invisalign laboratory. The patients are required to wear this aligner at least for 22 hours a day and to have it replaced with a new set of aligners every 1 or 2 weeks depending on the change in position of your teeth.
